OUR STORY
Shawmut Services was born from the real world challenges of running large scale field programs. Our founders built and scaled operations teams on the front lines. This included hiring tens of thousands of staff, managing onboarding and payroll, navigating compliance in multiple states, and coordinating multi location programs.
In doing this work, we realized that many organizations need operations support that works in practice, not just in theory. Too often, teams invest in strategy or software without building the infrastructure that keeps operations running.
Shawmut Services was created to fill that gap. We step in when internal ops teams do not exist, are overwhelmed, or lack the tools to scale.
HOW WE GOT HERE
Before Shawmut Services existed, the same operations experts behind our work were building infrastructure, systems, and teams from the ground up. We helped organizations grow quickly and reliably by designing processes that handled real world complexity such as high volume hiring, shifting timelines, multi state compliance, onboarding, and payroll cycles.
This work came out of necessity. Programs could not afford slow or manual operations with real consequences when things broke. Over time, teams asked if we could provide this support beyond our own programs.
That demand, grounded in trust and results, turned into Shawmut Services.
